Build a personal blog for Mara Lindqvist — a general life/observations blog, not tied to one topic like food or travel, the way most blog templates are. For the hero, skip a photo entirely: use a quiet cream field with the blog name 'Notes from Mara' set in a large, slightly irregular serif, and a one-line description underneath reading 'On noticing things, mostly.' No hero image, no CTA button — just the name, the line, and a 'Read the latest' text link with an underline. Pair Instrument Serif for the blog name and post titles with a warm, readable serif-adjacent body face (Lora or similar) for post text — this should feel like reading, not browsing. Ground the page in warm cream (#FAF6EF), deep ink blue as the single accent (#2E3A59) on links and post-title hovers, and soft charcoal (#2A2724) for body text. Below the hero, list posts in a single column, dated simply (no category tags, no featured images unless a post specifically has one) — title, date, and a one-sentence excerpt in italic. In the right margin on desktop (stacked below on mobile), add a small 'Currently' card styled like a handwritten index card, slightly rotated (-1°), listing what Mara's reading, half-listening to, and thinking about this week — updated by hand, not automated, and explicitly not a widget pulling from an API. The signature moment is that 'Currently' card: its handwritten-style font and slight rotation should recur nowhere else on the site, making it read as a genuinely personal touch rather than a template component — and its content should change with real specifics, never 'a good book' or 'a great podcast.' Animate post titles with a 150ms color shift on hover (no underline animation, no scale) and the Currently card with a single 300ms fade-in on load; collapse to instant states under prefers-reduced-motion. No placeholder post titles or 'Lorem ipsum' — every post title, excerpt, and Currently item should read as something a real person actually wrote or is doing.

Yes, if you have something specific to say. A blog gives you a place you own to share your work, build an email list, and show up in search, which social posts don't do on their own.
